About

Life is hard. I get it. What if you found your own strengths to draw on every day? What if you felt so energized and empowered that your days flew by and you couldn’t wait to get out of bed each morning?

That’s one of my strengths: helping others help themselves.

Drawing on real life experiences and nearly 20 years of financial systems experience, I bring a unique perspective as a Strengths Coach.

My goal is to empower both individuals and teams to recognize, utilize and be their strengths, to maximize their potential and feel energized on a daily basis.

Throughout my career, I have worked with all levels of organizations, building trust throughout and found myself indirectly coaching others.

As my career progressed and I’ve learned more about myself, my strengths and strengths in general, I’ve realized that I truly enjoy building relationships and helping others find solutions to their problems.

This has led me to a calling in Strengths Coaching.

As a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach, I work with individuals and teams to discover their strengths by listening, asking thought provoking questions to truly uncover what it is that empowers my clients to lead more fulfilling and productive lives.

I use my life experiences of living in multiple countries, working in more than a dozen different industries and being a wife and mother of two beautiful girls to help my clients understand themselves.

If you’ve read this far, you probably want to know more about me.  I grew up in a small town near New York City. In 2004, while trying to move to Europe, I got a little lost and moved to Australia instead.

And no, I didn’t confuse Australia with Austria as I also lived in Austria many moons ago.

I was given the opportunity to transfer to Sydney with my job at the time, took a leap of faith and moved halfway around the world for what I thought was a 2 year plan.

Then I met my husband, the GFC hit, and 2 kids later, I have no plans to move back.

I’m a learner at heart (another one of my strengths!), so I learned German the hard way as an exchange student in Austria, then went to university to learn German properly and since I needed a job that would pay the bills, I also studied Accounting, even though I knew I didn’t want to be an Accountant.

Instead I took my love for numbers and data and became a consultant implementing financial systems at more than 30 customers globally.

I eventually left consulting (and joined one of my clients), but still implement financial and reporting solutions. Throughout my nearly 20 years of professional experience, I’ve been able to use my strengths of analysis, thinking outside the box, continually learning and improving, assessing risk and building relationships, but now it’s time for me to help others find their strengths and use them on a daily basis!
